The Infirmary weathered the weather well!
An ice storm, downing many power lines, trees and limbs, caused the Infirmary to be without electricity for three days (Jan. 27-30).    Roads were nearly impassable, but dedicated employees came to work knowing how desperately their help was needed.  Overnight accommodations were made possible for employees and our maintenance crew provided needed transportation for others.  Residents were kept warm with the use of a generator and extra blankets.  Thankfully, full power was regained around 9 PM Friday evening.
